There have been many additions to facilities over the past 46 years. The Don Hislop Gymnasium was built in 1992 and the Performing Arts Complex in 1993. The single biggest incident at the school during its current lifetime was the major fire in October 1993, which destroyed nearly all of the front wing of the school. All of the Administration areas and four classrooms were lost in the fire. A two year rebuilding project eventuated and was opened in September, 1995. The College facilities include general purpose classrooms, three specialist Science laboratories, three Computer laboratories and specialist rooms for Technology, Art, Home Economics, Graphics, Textiles and Music plus a well resourced library. A new Flexible Learning Centre (FLC), with state-of-the-art Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), has been built as part of the College's Leading Schools Program. Recently completed is the VCE study centre. Most recently, the College gymnasium and Performing Arts Complex, including the canteen, underwent major building works. Currently the B-wing (the old breezeway at the end of the A-wing) is being upgraded, along with the toilet block.
This year marks the 50th anniversary of the school on its present site. A weekend reunion will be held on the weekend of April 18-20. There are more details on the appropriate page of this website.
